Is Gigli That Bad?
August 1, 2003The new J-Lo/Ben Affleck movie Gigli isn’t the kind of movie I’d see, but even if it were the reviews have been so negative I’d still stay away. I mean, the reviewer at the San Jose Mercury News gave it a lousy one-half stars. That’s bad.
Could it be that people are kinda piling it on? I mean c’mon, these two have individually done some good work. How could they turn out together something so awful? I think the press is just hounding them.
I’m tempted to go see the movie just as a show of support. Because I don’t think any movie can be that bad. But damn if there aren’t a lot of negative reviews for this flick.
