Difficult People
August 11, 2003I’m beginning to wish I could strangle one of the sales guys at work. He is so un-technical, I can’t understand how he got into Web advertising. I try to explain how the stuff works, I explain it about a dozen different ways, but none of it sticks.
And so he keeps filing these idiotic bugs. Things where I have to just grit my teeth and gently explain, for the millionth time, how to fix the problem.
He doesn’t understand how clicks work, how data warehouse reports work, how FTP works, it’s just a completely lost cause with him. He is the thorn in my side, sent here to make my life a living hell.
He has succeeded in that, at least.
