The Microsoft Worm
August 12, 2003Even though I’m not a big fan of Microsoft, I think this damned worm is just damned inconvenient. It’s causing all sorts of problems for our network, and I’m pretty sure it’s also the reason our Exchange server is down right now.
You never realize just how much you depend on email until it’s gone. It’s such a key part of how we work, how we find out about important events, and how we schedule our day. Without my Outlook calendar I’m lost. Thankfully I sync’d up my Clie handheld last night. So I do have a copy of my schedule. But without Exchange/Outlook how will I know if meetings get changed or cancelled or added? I’m lost, completely lost.
Sigh. I hate technology.
