Cruz-ing into the lead
August 25, 2003Oh no, Cruz Bustamante has taken the lead in the latest poll for the recall election. Worse, it seems that support for the recall itself is fading a bit.
Dammit, even though I’m a Democrat I can’t quite stomach the thought of either Davis or Bustamante in that role. They’re both responsible for this mess the state budget is in, we need new leadership to try and shake things up.
Sigh, well the recall ain’t over yet. There’s still time for people to come to their senses. And for more Republican candidates to quit the race so that the anti-Davis forces can unite behind one candidate.
