Poll gyrations
September 29, 2003I don’t think we can trust any of these polls in the California recall race. The latest CNN poll shows Arnold with a commanding lead, and shows nearly two-thirds of voters support the recall itself. Yet just last week the polls were showing Arnold and Cruz Bustamante in a dead heat, and a narrow majority supporting the recall of Governor Davis.
There’s just either bad polling going on, or voters are changing their minds with alarming frequency and rapidity. Either way it means the race is still very much up for grabs. And no, I still haven’t filled out my absentee ballot. Still leaning Arnold’s way but I need to think about it a bit more before I commit.
