Safely in Kentucky

October 13, 2003

Well, I clearly ran out of steam when it came to posting photos during my trip. After Oklahoma City came two days in Memphis (saw Graceland, ate at a cafe in Beale Street, drove down to the casinos at Tunica, MS) and another two in Nashville (saw the Opryland Hotel, toured the Music Row area, saw a performance at the Grand Old Opry).

Arrived in Louisville on Saturday afternoon, I’m staying at a two-bedroom apartment that my realtor found. It’s decent, an upstairs flat that’s on a quiet street and within a couple miles of the office.

So today is my first day in the Louisville office, it’s a brand new building they just moved into a couple weeks ago. So there’s still that new-building chemical soup floating around in the air, all the drying paint and carpet glue, etc. Oh well, I went thru this when CNET moved into the Second Street building and that was much worse than here. So I will survive.

Oh, and of course congratulations to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
