Mixed-up curses
October 16, 2003Damn, I got my curses all confused. The Bambino thing is the Red Sox, not the Cubs.
Doesn’t matter I guess, the Cubs lost anyway. What a horrible end. That poor Cubs fan who cost them Game 6 is gonna by stygmatized forever. At the very least he’ll probably have to move from Chicago.
But now it’s the Yanks/Red Sox. What a couple of pennant races, both going the distance. You just gotta believe though that the Yankees will pull it out and get into the World Series. Where those damned fishy Marlins await.
