US intelligence on Iraq was faulty

Wow, if this Senate Intelligence Committee report turns out to be true, the intelligence used to justify the war on Iraq was erroneous. Lots of single-source claims and just really sloppy work.

I hope this isn’t true. I’m not a huge fan of the war, but it did serve a greater purpose in removing Saddam Hussein. However if it turns out Hussein was all hot air and no real threat, then you have to wonder why all those people had to die. On both sides.
