Opus returns
November 20, 2003I wonder if this is going to work–Berke Breathed is returning his Opus character to the Sunday funnies. I loved Opus when he was part of Bloom County, but he got kinda dumb in the Outland strips and it was a bit of a relief when Breathed retired from the comic strip biz.
Now he’s coming back, I guess with a strip centered on Opus. It’s going to be interesting to say the least. I just hope it’s also a good comic, so it doesn’t ruin what residual fondness I have for the character.
