January 15, 2004Nice–Yahoo is going to drop Google this quarter as the Web search provider on their sites. Finally going to switch over to the Inktomi technology that they purchased over a year ago.
This is gonna be good, watching these two well-funded companies duke it out. It’s a battle of equals really, which is why it’ll be fun. Unlike the Netscape vs. Microsoft war which you kinda knew MS was gonna win since they had way more money to spend on it. But Yahoo vs. Google is much more evenly matched so it ought to be a good fight.
Pass the popcorn, I’m settling in for a nice bloody struggle between these two Internet titans.
