Cingular swallows up AT&T Wireless
February 17, 2004Great, so now that Cingular has won the bidding for AT&T Wirless I guess I will now become a Cingular customer. I haven’t actually had the AT&T Wireless phone long enough to be unhappy with their customer service, unlike some people who got caught by a software bug in AT&T’s system when trying to switch carriers.
I can’t switch, since I just signed up, so I’m in it for the long haul. Though I wonder if the fact that Cingular is buying AT&T invalidates my 2-year agreement? Now I should investigate this, might be a way to worm out of the contract since AT&T is going bye-bye.
