Spring has sprung!
February 19, 2004Well that’s over-stating but it did get into the mid 60’s today here in Louisville. Warmer than San Francisco where I used to live. Just a couple day’s ago it was down in the 20’s here in Louisville. And probably will be again before winter is truly over.
Still, I’ll take this little mini-spring for now. Hope it doesn’t mean we’ll get slammed extra-hard when old man winter re-asserts himself in these parts. But March 20th is just around the corner, the official start of Spring.
After that it’s a short run to the Derby Festival (mmm, can’t wait for elephant ears and fireworks) and then my first Kentucky Derby.
