Good deals on Mitsubishi cars?
April 23, 2004So the pinstripe suits at DaimlerChrysler finally showed some common sense, and have decided not to fund a bailout of trouble Mitsubishi Motors. Guess they finally realized it would just be throwing good money after bad.
I assume the reason they made the initial investment was the hope that they could duplicate the success of the Renault-Nissan venture. Turns out the French at Renault beat the Germans at Daimler, probably the first time the French have beaten the Germans at anything.
On the plus side, maybe you’ll be able to get a really good deal on a Mitsubishi car. I kinda like the little Outlander mini-SUV/wagon thingy. I could use an AWD for the wintertime here in Kentucky.
