SF weather in Kentucky
July 27, 2004Last couple days have been really weird weather-wise here in Louisville. It’s been positively San Francisco-like, cool and overcast. Very much a July day in San Francisco (especially out near Golden Gate Park) but very much not what you’d expect in Kentucky in July.
In fact I’m told this summer has been incredibly mild by Kentucky standards. So far only a couple days in the 90’s, most days in the 80’s or even the 70’s like yesterday and today. And a lot more rain than normal. Maybe it’s global warming at work?
Anyway the heat will return, in fact due to roll in tomorrow. I’m looking forward to it, because I have a nice new sprinkler I bought at Lowe’s and I’m dying to try it out. But it’s been too wet and mild to need any watering of my lawn. Maybe this weekend it will get dry and hot enough to warrant trying out the new sprinkler.
