Going to the Festival
October 22, 2004The one good thing about yesterday’s protracted wait at the doctor’s office is that I had to leaf thru a bunch of old magazines including one called Long Weekend. It’s apparently published by the same company that does Ohio Magazine, and it’s all about day-trip types of activities throughout the Ohio Valley.
Anyway, the magazine had a list of Fall festivals including the Ohio Renaissance Festival. And as luck would have it, this is the very last weekend for the Festival. And I’ve been looking to do a longish drive anyway in my car, make sure it’s ready to handle the long trip to Florida in a couple weeks for my checkout scuba dives.
So Renaissance it is. I’m charging my little USB camera now so I can take quick little digital snapshots while I’m there. Will try to upload some next week, if any of them come out okay.
