Slowest service on earth
November 10, 2004Had the worst lunch experience ever yesterday at a place called Cheddar’s. The restaurant itself seemed nice, but the service was abysmal.
We placed our lunch orders with Misty (our waitress) at about 11:55 a.m. Twenty minutes later, at 12:15 p.m., she came by and apologized, and promised we were just a couple tickets away. By 12:30 we finally gave up and walked out.
It’s the first time in years that I’ve walked out of a place because of the slow service. No matter how good the food, it couldn’t be worth a 35 minute wait. We went over to the Schlotzsky’s and had our sandwiches within ten minutes. Which included a five minute wait in line, so really just a five minute wait from the time we ordered until the time the sandwiches came up.
