Tackiest Christmas gift ever
November 22, 2004I’m taking a non-vacation vacation this week, time off from work but staying at home. Gotta get my vacation hours under 40, to qualify for the bonus week next year.
So anyway, I was spending my time cleaning out the junk that was filling the spare bedroom. I’ve got a couple boxes worth of crap that’s going out with the trash on Wednesday, but I also came across a treasure–the tackiest Christmas gift I ever received. In fact I think it’s the tackiest Christmas gift ever–a little plush gorilla that sings “The Macarena”:
Now I love my cousins, but they managed to find what has got to be the tackiest thing ever made. Or at least it’s really close to the top of the list of tackiest things ever.
Of course that doesn’t mean I want to get rid of it. On the contrary, I love the thing. I believe I will bring it in to work next week and share with my co-workers.
