Put down my deposit for a PSP
January 11, 2005Yes I am in fact an uber-geek, I’ve put down my $20 deposit on the Sony PSP that I’ve been lusting for these past few months. I guess really though I’m not a true uber-geek, because I would have already bought the Nintendo DS as well. That’s the kind of thing an uber-geek would do–get both handheld platforms.
So I’m just a regular geek, because I’ve laid down the bucks to reserve my PSP. And I don’t even know the final price–rumours are flying of anywhere from $150 to over $200. I’m betting it won’t be any more than $199, so that it stays within $50 of the Nintendo DS price.
That’s still an amazing price when you think about it–almost the power of a Playstation 2, which costs $150 all by itself. And you add a nice high-res screen and portability and built-in Wi-Fi.
God I can’t wait.
