Yahoo baby was a hoax

A week or so ago there was a widely-publicized story about a couple in Romania naming their baby “Yahoo,” after the Web site where they first met. Apparently that story was a hoax, and the paper in Romania has fired the reporter.

Kind of a bummer–it was weird but sorta romantic to think there really were nerds that nerdy, who would actually name their kids after an Internet site. Turns out none of it was true.
