The Duo has died
January 31, 2005Well my adventure in vintage Mac laptops was short–the PowerBook Duo 280 that I got has died. It plays a sad little song when I try to power it up. I assume that song means something specific–Apple probably has one tune for RAM failure, another if the hard disk dies, and so on. I’ve posted a discussion thread on TechRepublic to see if anybody knows more about the specifics of the sad song.
