Dumping an old TV

February 15, 2005

So last year, I bought a really cheap TV at the J-Town flea market. I’m not saying the TV itself was cheaply made, I’m saying it was cheap–$30 for a 27 inch color TV. The reason it was so cheap is that the thing is monstrously heavy. Nobody else wanted it apparently so they kept discounting it until I finally showed up.

I’ve been happy with it, for the money. But now it’s time to get a replacement, but now that means I have to get rid of this damned thing. That’s the real problem–I’m gonna send out a note here at work hoping somebody will take it. If not I’ll have to ask somebody to post it onto Freecycle or something.
