Odd shoeless dream last night
February 27, 2005Had a weird dream last night. I was taking the bus home, which I never do here in Louisville. I used to in San Francisco but not out here, service is much less frequent and even less reliable than Muni was.
Anyway, so in this dream I’m riding the bus and it is apparently raining. I say apparently because I don’t recall in the dream actually seeing it rain, but my shoes are soaking wet. I take them off while on the bus, and it isn’t until I get off the bus and am almost at my door that I realize I left the shoes on the bus. So I’m standing in front of my house in my socks.
Then it gets even weirder–there’s a woman and her little boy in front my house, they also have their shoes off and are running around my yard and my neighbor’s yard. They are looking for something, and I guess they’re hoping to feel it with their feet.
That’s where it ends, I have no idea what any of that means. I haven’t had that vivid a dream in quite a while, I don’t even remember when the last one was.
