The omnipresent Beyonce
February 28, 2005I was watching the Oscar’s last night, what the hell is up with Beyonce? She sang, solo or duet, three of the nominated songs. Were there no other female singers available last night? Does she have some kind of exclusive contract?
I thought the weirdest one was the French song she did. Come on, at the very least if you’re aiming to give a French song some kind of popular face then at least use somebody who speaks French. Maybe Alanis or Celine. But not Beyonce.
Though I must admit, she looked damn fine when she did that Andrew Lloyd Webber song. She had this black dress that really fit her well, along with a bajillion jewels around her neck. Very over the top and yet stylish at the same time.
