It’s basketball-crazy around here
March 17, 2005Maybe I was just too new to really notice it last year, but this year it’s really obvious that many people around here are basketball-crazy. There’s three Kentucky-based teams in the playoffs, though it will soon be two because Kentucky faces Eastern Kentucky. Louisville is also in the tourney, they should get past the first round but it gets very tough from there.
Everyone around here seems to have come down with March Madness, there’s betting pools and people taking time off during the day to go upstairs and watch various games on the DirecTV. I don’t recall that the SF office ever came down with March Madness this bad. They really love their sports out here, but basketball especially.
