Skinned my knee bowling
March 18, 2005So yesterday the office took the afternoon off and went down to the Lyndon Lanes bowling alley for a little St. Patrick’s Day fun. It’s the same place where we had our Christmas Party.
Once again I bowled miserably, but it was still fun anyway. I did manage to get one strike, unfortunately it cost me a skinned knee. I fell down right as I tossed the ball, hit my knee against the wall on the way down (we were bowling in the lane nearest the wall, of course). The ball rolled slowly down the lane and knocked down all the pins, while I got up and limped back to the seating area.
I thought it was just a little twinge, what I didn’t realize until I got home was that I had in fact skinned the knee. There was not a lot of bleeding but there was some. Slept with one of this big bandages covering the knee, it seems better this morning. Doesn’t hurt or anything, it’s just gonna be an ugly wound for a few days I guess.
