Gonna skip Thunder
April 22, 2005The forecast is for a cold and potentially drizzly Thunder Over Louisville tomorrow. I went to the airshow last year, though I skipped out before the fireworks. It was a lot of fun, but a lot of that was because the weather was absolutely spectacular–temps in the 80’s and not a cloud in the sky.
If it’s going to be cold and drizzly, I don’t want to be out there with a couple hundred thousand other cold and wet people. One nice thing though–if you are going the crowds should be a lot smaller than last year, when they said up to 750,000 people covered both banks of the Ohio to watch the show. I’ll be they get less than half that, maybe less than a third, this year.
