Bought another useless domain
April 28, 2005I’m not sure I’m gonna keep this when it expires next year, but I just bought the Looavul.com domain. That’s the way a lot of people here pronounce the name of our city–”looavul” rather than “loo-e-vil” which is how outsiders say it.
I was a little surprised that this phonetic version was still available. Somebody else already does own looahvul.com but they aren’t really doing anything on that domain.
Of course I’m not certain what if anything I’ll do on looavul.com. Maybe a blog about life in the city? But that seems kinda dry and boring. I’m gonna have to think about it.
