Rain rain get the hell away
April 29, 2005All this rain is driving me crazy. The main reason is it’s affecting my ability to do lawn care.
Now that’s not necessarily a bad thing–I generally hate lawn care so any excuse to get out of it is usually good. But I really want to do some serious re-seeding in the brown spots I created with the dandelion extermination. I’m hoping to get to that tonight if the rains hold off long enough.
I also really need to trim the hedges and the trees around the house. Especially the tree next to the driveway–it’s exploded enough that the leaves are hitting the car as I drive in and out. So it needs to be trimmed back just a smidge to allow my vehicle enough clearance.
Just in general the yard’s looking a bit unkempt and I need to get a couple good clear days so I can take care of it all. Good clear weekend days, that is. And this unfortunately doesn’t look like my weekend. Maybe Derby weekend next week will be better.
