A great lunch

Fridays are good to begin with, but this Friday was extra good. The lunch crowd I usually go out with decided to ditch our usual destination (Jucy’s, a BBQ joint) and try Shalimar instead. It is a great lunch buffet on Hurstbourne. Not cheap but well worth the money.

Best bets were the chicken curry and the fried spinach. For desert, the crumbled carrot cake thing was interesting but the real win was the mango pudding. It’s not really a pudding, it’s in essence fruit cocktail drowned in a mango sauce. Really good finish to a great meal.
