Chesney and Zellweger seeking annulment
September 16, 2005Okay, so I kinda wondered about the whirlwind nature of the romance between Kenny Chesney and Renee Zellweger, which resulted in them marrying in May just four months after they first met.
Seems four months is a magic number for them, because now the marriage itself is over after just four months. Zellweger has filed for divorce. I’m not as in tune to these things as I should be, since apparently it’s been rumoured since July that they were going splitsville.
The interesting tidbit is that in filing the divorce papers, apparently Renee checked the box marked “fraud” as the reason for seeking an annulment. I wonder what that’s all about? Nobody’s saying right now but you can’t keep something like that a secret for very long.
There’s of course been rumours for years that Chesney is gay. That would surely be reason to check “fraud” on the divorce papers. We’ll see I guess.
