So I mentioned yesterday how some gay porn awards site was linking to my site. I finally found where on their site the bad link was, so I emailed their contact address but never heard back. As of now it’s still linking to my site.

So I finally decided to do something I hate to do, and that is call them. I hate the phone, email is so much better for me. But I figured I need to get this fixed, the sooner the better.

Just got off the phone with the rep for their Web site. The odd thing is it’s a she–for some reason I just never expected the person handling a gay porn Web site would be female. I guess that’s sexist to say, it just was a bit of a surprise.

But she was nice, took down the info and promised to take a look. Hopefully she’ll have the link down sometime today. They’re in California so it’s early afternoon for them, plenty of time to fix the file and upload a new copy.
