Chronicles of Narnia worth seeing
December 12, 2005I saw the Chronicles of Narnia movie this past weekend and I’m thinking it’s a lock that they’ll make at least a couple more in the series. I enjoyed it immensely, and though it has some Christian themes it’s not very overt about them so even non-believers can sit and enjoy it as an entertainment.
The kids they found to be the four leads are wonderful, especially the little girl who plays Lucy. They’re on screen for essentially the whole film so they were key to making it a good movie. And the woman who played the Witch, damn she was very good at being scary.
Definitely a recommended holiday film, I would say a much better family film than the latest Harry Potter.
