Is Google now the big bully?
April 21, 2006Interesting, there’s reports that eBay has been talking with Yahoo and Microsoft about a potential alliance to fend off the threat from Google. Suddenly Google’s not the little guy that we all root for in its battle against the evil Redmond. Now it has become the big bad behemoth making moves into other markets as its appetite for revenue keeps growing. Like Google Base, which is clearly encroaching on eBay’s auction/e-commerce market.
Amazing how quickly Google went from media darling to media scrutiny. For now at least, I prefer Google as my monopolistic Big Brother over Microsoft.
