Picasa photos on the Web
June 15, 2006I’ve been a fan of Picasa for a while, it’s a free and simple photo management tool. Very similar I think to iPhoto, except of course that Picasa is a PC app (though a Linux version is in beta). I just signed up for Picasaweb, which is a kind of Flickr-type service where you can upload your photos from Picasa and share them on the Web. My photo albums are here.
Haven’t had a chance to try it much, so far though it’s pretty good. I just selected the photos I wanted to share and clicked the menu to turn the album into a Web album. And poof, there it is.
