And to think I almost watered the lawn on Friday
June 24, 2007I am so glad that I’m lazy, because if I had watered the lawn on Friday it would have been a waste of water and money. We’ve finally had two good days of soaking rain, not enough to really break the drought but it will help. We’re still no doubt many inches below where we should be in annual rainfall.
For better or worse though, I’m sure there’s been enough rain that I’ll have to mow the lawn later this week. It might be my imagination but the lawn already seems greener today than it did yesterday.
No idea though if this will last. THere’s a small chance of additional rain in the forecast for the next few days then it looks like it starts drying out again for a while.
