Back from Atlanta
July 5, 2007I just got back a couple hours ago from my 4th of July road-trip to Atlanta, Georgia. I’m too tired to write much, but I”ll be posting stuff later. Including photos, took lots of photos.
Some quick highlights (and lowlights):
- Tap at 1180 Peachtree had the worst service, avoid at all costs.
- The Marriott Midtown is a great hotel, cheaper than the downtown hotels and convenient to a Marta stop. And definitely try their peach cobbler, pricey but damn it was the best cobbler I’ve ever had.
- The High Art Museum is, unbelievably, closed on holidays like July 4th. For heaven’s sake that’s when tourists like me are in town, you should open your tourist attractions on those days.
