Summer is photography high season

I’d love to see a graph at Flickr showing the number of photo posts per day.  Like a stock-market ticker kind of display.  Because I’m betting that there would be a large spike in new photos during the summer months.

At least, judging from the photo stream coming out of my contacts.  I’ve definitely been seeing way more photos out of them the past couple months.  Vacations and weddings and summer activities with kids have dominated the photostream.

Some people, like Esther Dyson, post new photos constantly any time of year.  But she’s the exception–for the other contacts in my list the summer has definitely been photo high season.
