The cough from hell

I had to go home from work just before noon yesterday, I was feeling really sick.  The annoying part is that I had taken the bus to work, and there’s no mid-day express bus back to my neighborhood.  So I ended up paying $30 to take a cab home.

But it was worth it because I was coughing up a storm and it was getting progressively worse.  In fact this morning it was worse than ever, sounded like I have several pounds of mucus or something trapped in my lungs.  Breathing was difficult, and coughing was painful.

But I took a second dose of NyQuil early this morning, slept in late, and am feeling a whole lot better now.  Hopefully I’ll be well enough to go into work tomorrow.
