The $20 repair that has become a $260 replacement

I’m not having good luck lately in the home maintenance arena.  First was the leaky roof I had to get fixed last week.  This week what should have been a $20 repair is now a $260 replacement effort.

It’s official: the Pacifica is dead

Chrysler made it official today: along with doubling their planned job cuts, they’re killing several car models including the Pacifica.  They’re also cutting the Crossfire, the ugly little two-seater that they launched with a big Celine Dion ad blitz several years ago.
