Why would anybody still want to hire Bobby Petrino?
December 13, 2007Bobby Petrino has now burned more bridges than the Allies and Nazis combined during World War II. And yet still somebody wants to hire him. Not just hire him, Arkansas enthusiastically embraced him with a multi-million-dollar contract.
Why would anybody want him given these last two years? He says he wants to stay at Louisville then he bolts for the pros to coach Atlanta. He runs into a tiny piece of adversity in Atlanta called the Michael Vick scandal so after less than a year he bolts from there to Arkansas.
When he leaves Arkansas in a huff, and he will, the Razorbacks will have nobody to blame but themselves. They had all the evidence they needed from these past two years to understand Petrino’s character flaws.
