AP readies obituary for Britney Spears
January 18, 2008A bit morbid I suppose, but major papers and news agencies often prep an obituary for famous people as they get older. So they are ready to quickly update it and post it when that person finally passes away. A pretty common practice.
Britney Spears seems awfully young to be getting the pre-obit treatment. But according to press reports, the AP is indeed readying an obituary for Britney.
I suppose it does make some sense — she’s apparently taking drugs, drinking a lot, in general living life as hard and fast as possible. If anybody is going to die young, it would be Britney. Look at that Brad Renfro guy who died a couple days ago. He was just 25.
