Damn it’s cold
January 21, 2008We have had single-digit temps here the last couple days. At least at night — yesterday morning when I was listening to the radio they said it was 8 degrees. And this morning the temperature was 11 degrees when I was driving in to work, so I am sure at some point in the wee hours we also dipped into single-digits.
When I retire, I can’t spend my winters in this kind of cold. I hate to become one of those snowbirds who winters in Florida. But I might have to.
I know, retirement is a long way off still. But if I know my tolerance for cold is going to decrease as I age, so I might as well get ready now.
