I think it’s over for HD-DVD

So Warner just announced that they’ll be dropping HD-DVD and going Blu-Ray exclusively for their HD offering. I think that’s essentially the death-knell for the HD-DVD format. Not even the fact that Microsoft is backing the format will be enough. As the British say, it’s tits-up for HD-DVD.
