I hope these falling home prices haven’t hit Louisville yet
February 14, 2008Oh boy this is not the kind of news I want to see–average home prices had their biggest quarterly drop ever in the last quarter of 2007. I hope that hasn’t hit the Louisville market yet, I have a home I’m trying to sell there.
The loan officer I’m working with did say that I would qualify for a mortgage on the place here in Nashville even if I don’t sell the Louisville place. But I do not relish the thought of carrying two mortgages for an extended period of time.
I wasn’t planning to try and find a nearby Catholic church until after I move into my new place, but perhaps I need to find one sooner. So I can start praying for divine real estate intervention.

The CJ reported this week that home sales fell for the last month, I think it was, but that for homes that did sell prices were up 3%. That’s good news.
